Narnia Dress

Aricia Dress, the meaning of its name explains our inspiration when designing and crafting it.
It is based on the princesses of Athens.
Even in Ancient Greece, fashion had its whims. Greek princesses wore complicated outfits; fitted bodices, pleated and voluminous skirts, sometimes adorned and enhanced with sashes of various feathers, to make their status and power evident.
Our Aricia Dress is composed of two parts joined together at a high-waisted inner waistband.
Its upper part has two front sections that cross over each other, ending in a quite pronounced V-neckline. Its shoulders simulate internal shoulder pads and it has long sleeves.
Its lower part is high-waisted, gathered from top to bottom, with all the gathers joined in the center.
At the back, the dress closes with an invisible zipper and features several tucks that make this design fit the body perfectly.
The fabric used to make this dress is a black cotton micro-neoprene knit.
